I’m excited to see some new drones in 2021. I really believe 2021 will be the year of innovation in the drone world! ?
Market leader DJI has focused on the entry-level market in 2020 and is yet to release any major technological updates or new high-end photography drones for the prosumer market. In the meantime the competition is getting fiercer.
We have the announcement from Sony to enter the drone market with the new Airpeak. Which will allow you to simply mount your Sony Alpha camera onto the drone. Major advantage, because it means you don’t have to match your ground shots with your aerial shots anymore, as they come out of the same camera.
Just recently we also had the announcements from Autel. They will fit a RTK onto their Evo II drone, to compete with DJI’s Mavic 2 Enterprise drone. What I found to be even cooler is their new Dragonfish drone. Which is a hybrid between a plane and a rotor-drone. Which should allow for flights up to 2 hours!
And we’re only mid January guys … hang on tight for more new drones in 2021 ?
